Adopt A Senior Pet Month!

November is Adopt A Senior Pet Month and we’re taking the opportunity to showcase one of the many wonderful senior rescue dogs in need of a home! We had the joy of photographing King, a 7 y/o German Shepherd, available at Their Voice Rescue in Delaplane, VA.

King was originally an owner surrender to BARCS in Baltimore when his owner could no longer care for him. It was quickly discover King has hip dysplasia and is not a candidate for surgery. TVR is doing everything they can to keep him happy and comfortable while looking for his forever home. Despite his hurting hips, King has an amazing personality. He is very loving, people-oriented dog. He enjoys the companionship of other dogs too as long as they understand to not play too rough with him. He’d be a great Netflix and chill buddy for the rest of his golden years. King was a total sweetheart during his shoot, did everything we asked of him, and was not bothered at all by wearing a crown or accessories. He was a really mellow, go with the flow dog the whole time he was in the studio!
